What does it mean to get Cout of your head and onto your feet?
First, get out of your head and onto your feet. This means go from dreaming to doing it. The head is great for planning. The head is great for visualising, but unless you're a mentalist, you probably can't move anything. By just staying in your head, you have to get moving and do something in the direction towards your goal. Don't wait to get motivated. You do something and then you get motivated after you get going. The motivation is proving to yourself that, oh, I can do it. I got off that square. And then you have the incentive to get on the next square and the next square and the next one. You don't have to do a lot. You can start with doing a little, you just have to do it forever. We always say to take one big task, break it into chunks to make it manageable, and that does work. But it can also, for some of us, be overwhelming. So don't think of it as 10 steps. Think of taking one step and then one step, and then one step 10 times this video for you is step one. Step two is up to you.
What is Newton Cradle and how does it relate to motion?
Have you ever seen Newton's cradle? There are four silver bowls suspended by wires, and they don't move until you take one, pull it away and let it go. Once it does, the other one will move and then the first one, and they'll go back and forth and they actually would go back and forth forever until or unless somebody stops it. This is based on Newton's law of inertia. An object that is in motion will continue to be in motion unless another force stops it. An object that is still, for example, if you put a book on a table, it's not going to move unless some kind of force is exerted. That is simple. When we want to get out of our own inertia, start a new project, learn a new skill, finally change that lifestyle habit. If we don't move, nothing will happen, but once we start, we have to continue.
